Opening of Modern Dinosaurs Exhibit at The Museum at Prairiefire – Saturday, March 2nd

Join the Museum at Prairiefire for its latest exhibition: Modern Dinosaurs! Modern Dinosaurs explores how mysterious beasts became familiar icons of past life on our planet as science transformed our understanding of natural history. Encounter full-size dinosaur skeletons, scientific instruments, original letters and works that fueled a scientific revolution. Discover natural selection in the age of the dinosaurs as you consider the evidence indicating birds descended from dinosaurs and as a result, should be considered modern dinosaurs. Barre & Brunch at Pinstripes – Sunday, March 3rd from 9 – 10 a.m.

Spring Break Professional Learning Opportunity: Project-Based Astronomy with Dr. Allen Macfarlane at The Museum at Prairiefire – March 11 – 15th from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Upper elementary and middle school teachers can join The MAP during Spring Break to strengthen experience with the project-based learning instructional model as well as with astronomy and engineering design curriculum through a professional development course with Dr. Allen Macfarlane.
