Improvements at Meeteetse Senior Center coming to a conclusion

*h/t Tracie Fernandez / Pitchengine Communities* As the first snow fell in Meeteetse last week, the Capital Improvement Campaign for the Meeteetse Senior Center was concluding. The work was done with the help of a $43,000 Daniels Fund Grant. The building got new siding, a new roof, and several upgrades to its kitchen. Meeteetse St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Outreach served lunch on the last two Monday's during the work. Many volunteers from the community, along with the Board and staff of the Meeteetse Senior Center, helped out along the way. Andy Miller and crew from Custom Metal Siding installed all new siding on the building. The new antique-style white siding compliments the new roof and updates the building. Joel Napoli and James Higgs from Kirkhoff Flooring were finishing up a few last projects and the quarry stone tile in the kitchen and commercial linoleum in the dining room will be complete. The wood looking commercial linoleum in the dining room warms up the space and is already getting rave reviews. Bragg Plumbing updated the kitchen plumbing for the new commercial dishwasher and installed the required indirect drain, while Rocky McLean acted as our liaison on the dishwasher project, coordinating electrical needs with the dishwasher company. #reboot
