Dispatch: Reports of vehicle break-ins; Driver of a scooter not yielding to traffic

Here is the Monday, November 16 recap of law enforcement activity from across Park County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Cody Police Department* Arrests: None at this time. Total 911 calls – 2 At 2:25 a.m. suspicious activity was reported at Big Horn Cinemas, Big Horn Ave. Caller reported an unoccupied vehicle. Assistance Given. At 4:56 a.m. an Intrusion/Holdup occurred at Burger King on Mountain View Dr. At 8:53 a.m. a motor vehicle crash occurred at Eastside School on 17TH St. A White suburban vs. silver Jeep. No injuries and no blockage. At 12:54 pm. on Salsbury Ave. and Bleistein a grader hit gas line. Caller already made contact with Black Hills energy. At 4:05 p.m. on 34th St. a caller reported having a stray cat and noted she took to the shelter. At 8:09 p.m. threats occurred at Elks Lodge in Cody on Beck Ave. Caller is receiving threatening messages from the below listed individual. Unable to Assist. At 11:09 p.m. a traffic stop occurred at West Yellowstone Ave. Warning was given for failure to maintain single lane. *Powell Police Department* At 1:49 p.m. caller requested a child welfare check at Avenue H. The case is under investigation. At 3:26 a stray cat was reported to be in a parking lot on E. South Street. An officer responded and the cat was taken to the shelter. At 4:59 p.m. on E Coulter Ave/N Hamilton St. a caller reported a person who was driving around on a scooter and went west on Coulter with no lights on the scooter. The person did not yield to traffic either. The caller nearly hit him. An officer responded but was not able to locate the scooter operator. At 9:41 p.m. an auto burglary was reported on E Coulter Ave. The caller reported some subjects attempting to break into vehicles. Officers responded and were able to determine that the vehicles were the subjects own cars. #reboot #news #dispatch
