Snow possibly continuing this morning, Wind Chill to 15 below tonight; Roads slick to slick in spots

There's snow in the Bighorn Basin this morning, and the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Riverton indicates there is a 50% chance the white stuff will continue through the day. Additional accumulation locally will be around an inch. The Wyoming Department of Transportation reports much of UW 16, US 20, is covered in black ice. There are no local road closures. The NWS forecast: Today: Scattered snow showers, mainly before 3pm. Partly sunny, with a temperature rising to near 26 by noon, then falling to around 18 during the remainder of the day. North wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 7. Wind chill values as low as -15. Breezy, with a west wind 7 to 12 mph becoming west southwest 18 to 23 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 34 mph. Tomorrow: Mostly sunny, with a high near 33. Wind chill values as low as -10. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 20 to 25 mph decreasing to 11 to 16 mph in the morning.
