Dispatch: Lots of vehicle crashes; Fire on Rumsey Avenue; Loon struggling to take off on Beck Lake

Here is the weekend recap of law enforcement activity from across Park County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Cody Police Department* Arrests: 11/20/15 Joshua Hebert, Cody, 20, Arrested for Warrant 11/20/15 Levi Tolman, Cody, 30, Arrested for DWUI 11/20/15 Van Fusselman, Powell, 69, Arrested for Probation P/U and Hold Order Total 911 calls – 4 *November 20, 2015* At 7:21 a.m. a domestic incident occurred on 33rd St. Caller advised she's having a domestic w/her boyfriend who has bruises on his face from him hitting himself but saying she did it. Caller wants him out. Arguing between them while on phone. Assistance Given. At 7:43 a.m. a vehicle slid off the roadway on County Road 2AB. No damage, no injury. Driver left vehicle there until conditions improved. Assistance Given. At 7:46 a.m. a motor vehicle crash occurred at Big Horn Basin Radiation Oncology on 9th St.. Both vehicles are pulled off into the parking lot at the cancer center. At 8:35 a.m. Motor Vehicle Crash occurred at Big Bear Motel on West Yellowstone Ave. Delayed hit and run. Caller states someone struck a utility box and decorative buffalo in front of the above location. At 9:23 a.m. a theft occurred at Libations on Sheridan Ave. Caller has a video tape of a shoplifter. Matter occurred tues, RP was made aware of incident last night. Subject in the video noted below. At 2:45 p.m. a motor vehicle crash occurred at Robert St/Twin Creek Trail Ave. Caller slid into a transformer box on left hand side of the street on twin creek trail no damage to RP's vehicle, said the plastic box is broken, did not see any wires sparking or smoke. At 8:17 p.m. a traffic complaint was reported at Traffic Complaint Quad Center on Heart Mountain St. Caller reported two vehicles spinning cookies in the parking lot. Sped off, no descriptions available other than a car and an SUV. Gone On Arrival. *November 21, 2015* At 3:06 a.m. an officer initiated activity at Cody Sports And Pawn Old Location on Rumsey Ave, Cody. Officer sees smoke coming from roof of building. Assistance Given. At 5:06 a.m. a caller requested a welfare check at Maverik North on Big Horn Ave. Employee reports a male sleeping? In dark blue small sedan, with lights on, if running ... parked in front by the bushes - can't see the plate. Male did not come into the store. Assistance Given. At 11:05 a.m. a caller on Beck Lake Park reported that there is a loon on the frozen lake that cannot take off. At 12:36 p.m. caller at Sheridan Ave/29th St. asked if officer can check on deer reported to have a severe broken leg, behind town house near storage units. Warden advised deer can be dispatched if needed. Assistance Given. At 3:57 p.m. Suspicious Activity occurred on Salsbury Ave. Caller states that there are footprints in the snow around his house and he believes that someone tried to get into the home. At 5:38 p.m. Building Burglary occurred on New Hope Dr. Caller states that her door had the window broken out with a rock. The door was locked, it is no longer. *November 22, 2015 * At 8:11 a.m. Trailer came off its hitch at 16th St./Big Horn Ave. Caller stopped to help asking for an officer to respond to assist them with reattaching the trailer. At 4:05 p.m. Littering occurred at Moose Creek Lodge on Sheridan Ave. Caller would like to speak with the CEO about beds being put out by her property that have bed bugs in them. This is a reoccurring problem. At 4:51 p.m. caller requested a child welfare check on Sheridan Ave. Caller advised she believes there's a 6-year old boy that's been left alone while the grandparent went to the store. Described it as a brown house with a white door across from Sunset School. Assistance Given. *Powell Police Department * *November 21, 2015* At 11:09 p.m. Underage Smokers were reported on E 7th St. A report was taken on underage smokers. *November 22, 2015* At 12:26 a.m. Suspicious Activity was reported on E 5th St. Officers contacted a male subject who was working in a building. He was returning chairs to the building. At 1:09 a.m. an officer initiated a welfare check on N Bernard St. Officers were requested to check the welfare of a young child. Officers made contact with the child who was home with his family and older sibling. #reboot #news #dispatch
