Here is the Monday, November 23, 2015 recap of law enforcement activity from across Park County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Cody Police Department* Arrests: 11/23/15 Lee Turgeon, Cody, 30, Arrested for Warrant Total 911 calls – 0 November 23, 2015 At 3:22 a.m. a deceased animal was reported at 12th/Salsbury St. Caller reported a dead buck deer on southwest corner. Referred to another agency. At 8:50 a.m. a lost Cabelas Visa Credit Card was lost at Albertsons Food & Drug on 17th St. At 9:56 a.m. littering occurred at Senior Center - Cody on 16th St. More illegal dumping going on in the area has some video to show CEO. At 2:17 p.m. a motor vehicle crash occurred at Cody Pet Depot on Yellowstone Ave. A fender bender in parking lot, non-injury, no blockage - orange subaru vs Blue Tahoe. At 2:39 p.m. a girl's mountain bike was found outside of the Quad Center on Heart Mountain St. Reporter noted it has been there for a while, front tire off, possibly abandoned. At 2:43 p.m. an abandoned vehicle occurred on Stampede Ave. Overnight appears vehicle has been abandoned all the doors have been removed from the vehicle. At 5:08 p.m. a caller requested a welfare check on his brother who has had mental issues in the past. Caller wants him put back into a group home but the home says they need an "official" report first. Caller checked on him today and he's well but definitely showing signs of a mental relapse. At 6:42 p.m. Road Hazard/Blockage occurred at Denny Menholt on 16th St. There is a faded black and tan JEEP that is parked next to the curb but it is impeding the lane of traffic. Assistance Given. At 6:05 p.m. an attempt to locate occurred on Meadow Lane Ave. Caller found a note on her door from her 15-year-old autistic son advising he was "going away." LSW stripped shirt, jeans and green tennis shoes. Subject was located by Officer's and returned home. At 8:57 p.m. a caller at Yellowstone Regional Airport on Roger Sedam Dr. advised a white Chevy Silverado with 2 males leaving airport in next 5 minutes. Hertz rental & driver was drinking on the flight. Unable to Locate. At 9:08 p.m. a caller had a domestic issue with her husband last evening, verbal only. She contacted crisis intervention and she and her daughter are now in a "safe place" but wants to file a report. Assistance Given. *Powell Police Department * At 10:31 a.m. a stray animal occurred on Avenue K. A Pitbull was caught on a playground. The CSO responded and the owner could not be contacted. The dog was taken to the shelter. Disposition: To Animal Shelter. At 7:47 a.m. a traffic stop occurred at E Coulter Ave/N Evarts St. A traffic stop was performed and the driver was issued a citation for speeding in a school zone and no proof of insurance.
