Winter Storm Watch updated: 4-7 inches of snow predicted for the Bighorn Basin

A strong storm system will move into the Bighorn Basin beginning late tonight and into Wednesday before slowing down and remaining over the area through Thanksgiving Day. This storm system will bring sharply colder conditions to the area along with moderate to potentially heavy snow at times Wednesday through Thursday as well as periods of strong wind with blowing and drifting snow and wind chills well below zero by late Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service Forecast Office at Riverton Regional Airport.
