Park County Commission holding public hearing on flood repairs tomorrow

The Park County Commission has a nearly all-day agenda tomorrow to cover a wide range of topics. Pre-public meetings begin at 8:15 a.m. with staff discussions, followed by a meeting with other elected officials at 9:30 a.m. Beyond the usual approval of payroll and other payments, the commission will discuss developing an economic baseline data study for Park County with the Wyoming County Commissioners Association (10:45 a.m.), an annual report and grant applications for the Park County Historic Preservation Commission (11:30 a.m.), and a liquor license transfer. At 1 p.m., there will be a public hearing regarding repairs for County Road 3LE. The road is in a floodplain, and the Greybull River eroded 2800 cubic yards of material, which will require 2839 cubic yards of material to replace. According to the commission packet, emergency repairs were done this spring and final repairs were done this fall. The public hearing is an the after-the-fact permit.
