Dispatch: Four Arrests and an armed subject trespassing

(Bighorn Basin, Wyo.) – Here is the Monday, January 8, 2015 recap of law enforcement activity in the Cody and Powell area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Arrests: Richard Richter, Cody, 58, Arrested for Warrant Joshua Johnson, Cody, 30, Arrested for Warrant Edgar Hume, Cody, 21, Arrested for Warrant Thomas Thompson, Cody, 33, Arrested for Domestic Battery Powell Received a report that a vehicle was vandalized. The case is under investigation. An officer on routine patrol noticed a dog running around. The officer contacted the owner of the dog and issued a warning for dog running at large and failure to obtain a dog license. Warning Issued. Received a report of 2 dogs running around, the officer was unable to catch the dogs. The officer attempted to make contact with the owner of the dogs but they were not at home and did not answer the phone. Assistance Given. Cody Occurred on Draw St, Cody. Reporting party says that a female threatened him and forced her way in to his home with her weapon. . Trespassing warning served. Police received a harassment report the party reported receiving threats via phone.Assistance Given. Report of a missing a male shih tzu. He is wearing a gray collar. His name is Bandit and he will answer to his name. The animal was returned to the owner.
