Threatening employee, an assault, and one arrest over the weekend

(Bighorn Basin, Wyo.) – Here is the Monday, January 11, 2015 recap of law enforcement activity in the Cody and Powell area for the weekend. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Arrests: Eduardo Carrillo, 21 arrested for DUI Cody: Occurred at Courthouse basement, opposite of Basin Authority. Reporting party would like to speak with an officer about a soon to be ex-employee about threats she has been making. Assistance Given Officers assisted the Wyoming Highway Patrol with a stolen vehicle report at Wal-Mart. Assistance Given Occurred at Human Canvas Tattoo, caller stated that a male subject assaulted him. The subject followed him from the above address and when the caller stopped to see if there was a problem the male subject grabbed his throat through the window and chocked him. The caller stated that the male subject seemed intoxicated and that he is no longer following him. Powell: Occurred at N Absaroka St. Officers are investigating a reported residential burglary. Occurred at S Jones St. Property owner requested criminal trespass notifications be made to two males. Officers contacted both of the men and served the trespass notices. Served #reboot #news
