Archers can now get a lifetime stamp

(Wyoming)- Wyoming residents may now purchase a lifetime archery license. A license is $202 and may be obtained from Wyoming Game and Fish any regional office. In addition to archery, the Game and Fish offers game bird, small game, and fishing lifetime licenses and lifetime conservation stamps. To be eligible, an individual must be a resident who has continuously resided in Wyoming for at least 10 years immediately preceding the date of application. A spokeswoman for the Wyoming Fish and Game stated that the purchase of a lifetime archery licence has several advantages. One of the advantages spoken of was that once purchased an archery hunter given time will save money, "The lifetime is a one time cost that over the years will pay for itself." Another advantage is that if the resident hunter has to move temporarily or permanently the lifetime archery licence will still be good. The logistics of obtaining a licence no longer have to be considered a lifetime holder will be ready to go at the start of the season.
