Trappers Triple Digit Triumphs, Men Score Double, Double Doubles

(Powell, Wyo,)- The Trapper women picked up their first Region IX North win in blow out fashion handing the Rams of Little Big Horn College their largest loss of the 2015-16 season. Three Trappers had double-doubles in the 114-19 win. Whitney Hatch led the team with 16 points and 10 Rebounds. Aubree Porter co-led with 16 points. Kealani Sagapolu missed her double-double by 1 rebound, but finished with 15 points. Jacey Shaw and Larissa Knight each had 12 points. Chandler Rose and Shelby Nicholson had 10 points each and completed their double-doubles with 10 and 13 rebounds respectively. Rose also put up 4 assists along with teammate Kennedy Netto who chipped in 8 points herself. Nicholson had 3 assists of her own while contributing defensively with Sagapolu who had 4 steals each. The team will travel to Miles City, MT to take on the Pioneers Saturday then return to Ken Rochliz court for more Region IX North action Thursday against Western Wyoming and Saturday against Central Wyoming. [image: gilrs.jpg] On the men's side six Trappers hit double digit points and two notch double-doubles as Men's Basketball earns a 105-55 win over Little Big Horn College tonight to pick up their first Region IX North win. Levi Londole and Sukhjot Bains earned double-doubles with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 10 points, 13 rebounds respectively. Grantham Gillard led the offensive effort with 24 points going 6 for 9 from the 3-point line. Joel Muamba had 16 points to go with 4 assists and 4 steals. Jordan Rood had 13 points, and Levi Petersen hit three of his four 3-pointers and finished with 10 points while co-leading with Muamba with 4 assists. The Trappers finished with 21 assists to a Rams' single assist.
