Worland Band and Choir students participate in the Wyoming All-State Music Competition

Congratulations to these 9-12th grade students from Worland High School who recently returned from the Wyoming All-State Band and Choir competition in Cheyenne. Choir Director at Worland High School, Chad Rose said he's "so proud of how these young people represented Worland High School." He added, "What a wonderful opportunity for our children to get to work with some of the greatest minds in music. It has always been a dream of mine to work with Dr. Mallory Thompson of Northwestern University...but I never dreamed my students could! And they did just that. The choir, band, and orchestra were all outstanding!" The photographed students include: Emrie Jolley, Flute; Mackenzie Cottrell, Alto I; Dane Bennett, Oboe; Chris Nicholas, Bass II; Dane Brazelton, Bass II; Katelin Scheuerman, Trumpet. Mr. Rose clarified "Dalen, Chris, and Mackenzie made All-State; Dane, Dalen, Kyra, Jaycee, and Mackenzie made All-NW, and Kyra and Jaycee made All-State Jazz in Choir."
