"If you drive US 14A ... attend this meeting"

The Powell Streets Project will be discussed in a public meeting on Monday the 1st of February from 4 to 6 at Powell City Hall. Expected work includes removing medians on U.S. 14A, installing roadway lighting, realigning First Street/Evarts streets, milling and overlaying asphalt pavement, installing ADA upgrades, and replacing broken sidewalk, curb and gutter, and double gutter from Fair Street to Homesteader Park. A formal presentation will begin at 4:15 p.m., following by questions and an open house. "If you drive U.S. 14A through Powell, live near, or have a business in this area, it would be a great idea to attend this meeting and offer input on this project," said WYDOT Resident Engineer Todd Frost of Cody. "This project will impact traffic movements while it is being reconstructed. The City and WYDOT want this to be the best possible project for Powell and its citizens, and we need citizen involvement to accomplish this. Please plan to attend." #reboot #news Feature Photo H/T Gary Butts
