Details emerge in Cowboy Bar robbery

(Cody, Wyo.)- Ryan Garland the suspect who allegedly broke into and burglarized the Cowboy Bar in Meeteetse has been bound over to District Court after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing. According to court documents Garland was identified as the alleged intruder via security footage from the Cowboy Bar and security footage from the Wea Market of Meeteetse. The Wea Market footage showed a vehicle, a blue Toyota hatchback, allegedly registered to Garland approach the vicinity of the Cowboy Bar turn off it´s headlights for five minutes and then leave. Witnesses also came forward and identified Garland as a possible candidate for the perpetrator from photos taken from the Cowboy Bar´s security cameras and from a photo lineup. On Friday, January 8, 2016 an arrest warrant was issued for the arrest of Ryan Garland in connection with the break in and burglary of the Cowboy Bar. The theft included a ¨shake a day” jar that contained approximately $200 in cash as well as an Apple iPad. Garland is currently being held in the Park County Detention Center on a charge of burglary under a $10,000 cash only bond. #reboot #news
