Dispatch: 6 arrests over the weekend and fraud complaint

(Bighorn Basin, Wyo.) – Here is the Monday February 29th, 2016 recap of law enforcement activity weekend in the Cody and Powell areas. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law *Arrests * Ryan Valeri Loveless aged 18 was arrested for interference with a peace officer and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Jason Gimmeson aged 39 was arrested for breach of peace and interference with a peace officer Donna K. McCracken aged 41 was arrested on a warrant. Michael Trent Haughian aged 40 was arrested for probation violation. Tara Rene Stebleton aged 36 was arrested for possession of marijuana and a schedule 1 or 2 drug over a felony weight Shantel Baldridge aged 24 was arrested for DWUI *Cody:* A trespassing complaint occurred at Wal-Mart on Yellowstone Ave. , Cody. The caller stated that there is a person is in the store that has stolen items. A caller reported suspicious activity stating that his tenant contacted him about a painter that was working on the house and has not left, he is just hanging around. The painter has a truck or suv, the tenant has a small sedan. Officers assisted Officers responded to a fraud complaint which occurred on Sunset Blvd N, Cody. A caller would like to speak with an officer, she gave information to someone that was posing as her insurance company. Officers assisted when a call occurred at Burger King on Mountain View Dr. , Cody. 2 months old-trouble breathing- heart trouble needs oxygen. A report of property damage occurred at Cody Pet Depot on Yellowstone Ave. , Cody. Last night someone tried to break into 2 steel storage lockers behind the business. . *Powell:* Occurred on S Douglas St. , Powell. Received a report of children at a school playing with a dog that wasn’t leashed... The reporting party was concerned that the children wouldn’t clean up after it if the dog poops. An officer responded and spoke with the kids who were playing with their dog in the security of the park and had the means to clean up after it, if it made a mess. Occurred on Meadow Ct, Powell. Reporting party advised that 3 middle school age boys were playing around in a vacant house. The officer spoke to the boys and their parents. The landlord is responding and checked the house with the officers. There was no damage to the house. Occurred at Panther Blvd/E Monroe St, Powell. Reporting party advised that a young yellow Lab and a brown and red 3 legged dog are running around this area. Officers responded and observed dogs walking with their owners in the county. Occurred at Powell Area on S Absaroka St/E Coulter Ave. , Powell. Reporting party advised that while he was at a business in Powell his vehicle was hit. There is white paint transfer on his driver’s side door. An officer spoke with the Reporting Party. Occurred on S Bent St., Powell. Anonymous reporting party stated that the vehicle listed is parked at this location but the people driving this vehicle are at a bar and very intoxicated. Officers observed the vehicle that was parked but did not see anyone get inside and drive away. They are believed to have gotten a ride home. Officer initiated activity at Maverik, Powell.Traffic stop- Shantel D Baldridge, age 24 of Powell was given a warning for broken taillight with white light showing to the rear and arrested for DWUI and transported to the Park County Detention Center. #reboot #news
