West Park CFO departs

Doug McMillan, West Park Hospital Chief Executive Officer has announced the resignation of hospital Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Patrick G. McConnell. He has served as West Park’s CFO for 17 years, and has been an involved member of the community. “It has been my privilege to work with Pat for the past 17 years. Pat has been instrumental in providing excellent leadership that has allowed WPH to achieve the growth our organization has experienced during his tenure.” During his tenure at West Park Hospital, McConnell has been instrumental in supporting numerous hospital construction projects and service expansion efforts to better meet the needs of the Cody community. He will be pursuing other opportunities within Quorum Health Resources, the firm which provides management services to West Park Hospital. Hospital Chief Executive Officer Doug McMillan expressed appreciation for McConnell’s contributions to the organization. “For nearly 20 years, Pat has been a vital member of our management team here at West Park Hospital, and we all wish him the very best in his future endeavors,” said McMillan. “His financial oversight of our extensive facility and service expansion efforts has been invaluable to our success. He is leaving WPH and Cody much better off from his tenure here.” Quorum Health Resources will provide an interim CFO to transition the role during McConnell’s notice period and beyond. In the meantime, Quorum has initiated a national search for a permanent CFO for West Park Hospital. The hospital CEO and Board will be closely involved to find the best candidate for West Park Hospital and our community.
