(Cody, Wyo)- St. Patty's Day is the 17th of March but Cody will be celebrating early. The Wearin' o the green will be held this Saturday in downtown Cody and here's how to do it all. 7 AM- Wake up rub the sleep out of your eyes and hit your wardrobe. Remember WEAR GREEN (unless you want to get pinched I guess). 8AM- Coffee Coffee and more Coffee you've got a big day ahead of you! 9AM- 11:59AM Savin’ o’ the Green! Head downtown and check for the green balloons. Merchants in Cody will be running some specials so get your purse or wallet out and get ready to save a little green. NOON- Grab your kids bike and fly rod, because the Spring Fling is about to start. There will free events for kids & grownups There will be a petting zoo, fly casting, face painting, kettle corn, obstacle course, and you can bring your own bike for bike decorating (you can enter the parade!) All of this takes place on 12th Street near the Irma porch. 4PM- Get your lawn chair and hit the sidewalk to watch the parade. 5PM- Call the babysitter because..... 5:30PM- LET THE CRAWL BEGIN! Follow the Billings Caledonian Bagpipers around Cody. The Crawl starts at the Irma 6:30PM- Pat O'Hara's 7:30PM- Cassie's 8:30PM- The Silver Dollar Saloon 9:30PM- Back to the Irma 10:30PM or so The Caldonians are rumored to end up at the Juniper to finish out their night each year.
