Big Horn Sheep Study Comes To Cody

(Cody, Wyo.) Bighorn sheep herds are being studied in Cody, Jackson and Dubois in an effort to evaluate body condition an their percentage of body fat, pregnancy rates and disease surveillance, all of which are related and ultimately result in herd recruitment and vigor. Josh Kilpatrick (Life Member 397), and his twins, Levi and Emily were present to assist. WY-WSF member Zach McDermott, was also present. All 14 ewes were pregnant and body fat was around 7%.
