(Bighorn Basin, Wyo.) – Here is the Friday April 1st, 2016 recap of law enforcement activity in the Cody and Powell area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Arrests: * Cale Joseph Ellison 30, was booked into the Park County Detention Center. No Charges are posted at the time of publication. *Cody:* A report of suspicious activity cccurred at Rocky Mountain Vein Clinic on West Yellowstone Ave. A caller advised 2 kids in a white Ford ranger are smoking something behind the building. RP would like an officer to drive through and check on them. Occurred at Maverik North on Big Horn Ave. , Cody. Female subject refusing to leave. She seems intoxicated. Wearing a black shirt, older female. Trying to return a bottle of wine that has already been opened. *Powell: * A report of property damage occurred on S Douglas St, Powell. Officers received a report of property damage. The caller only wanted the information documented at this time. Occurred on S Douglas St. , Powell. Officers received a complaint that female had been texting and driving. The caller also advised some of the children in the vehicle were not in car seats or buckled in. The caller did not wish to sign a complaint, but to just have the driver spoken to. An officer responded and made contact with the driver. They were advised of the complaint and spoken to regarding the dangers of these actions. Occurred on N Clark St. , Powell. Received a report of an intoxicated person in a business. An officer responded and made contact with the subject. They were issued a warning for public intoxication and arrangements were made to see them home. Officer initiated activity at E Coulter Ave/S Bent St, Powell. An officer was flagged down by a subject who was having car trouble. Officers assisted in starting the vehicle. #reboot #news #dispatch
