(Bighorn Basin, Wyo.) – Here is the Tuesday, April 5th, 2016 recap of law enforcement activity in the Cody and Powell area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Arrests:* Justin Fowler of Cody, 31, arrested for Domestic Battery *Cody, Wyo.* At 7:12 a.m. there was a report of a Parking Problem which occurred on Rumsey Ave. Reporting person states that the below vehicle is blocking a job site with a bunch of open beer in the vehicle. Assistance Given. At 10:47 a.m. there was a Motor Vehicle Crash at K-Mart on 17th St. The reporting person hit another vehicle two days ago. No damage to the other vehicle, but he has a small amount of damage to his and would like to talk to an officer about it. The reporting person would like a phone call. Assistance Given. At 11:30 a.m. there was a Traffic Complaint that occurred at Heart Mountain St/Stampede Ave. Viewed male driver, having another male ride on hood of his vehicle, going across intersection then turning left on Meadow Lane Ave, headed toward McDonalds. Reporting person has video and willing to sign a complaint. Citation Issued. At 12:02 p.m. there was a Traffic Stop at 26th St/Central Ave. Driver cited for speed 45/30. At 2:18 p.m. a stray animal was reported on Southfork St. The dogs at this address are out and barking again. Citation Issued. At 2:39 p.m. an officer initiated activity at Sunlight Federal Credit Union, 17th St. Reporting person reported bullying of her son at Cody Middle School. Assistance Given. At 3:24 p.m. Miscellaneous Assistance was given at Cody Area on Sheridan Ave/16th St. The reporting person has questions about the legal use of her motorized scooter that only goes 18 mph. Assistance Given. At 4:51 p.m. there was a Welfare Check that occurred on Sheridan Ave. Reporting person would like a check on the parents of a female subject who is in the hospital. Parents did not take the news well. Assistance Given. At 5:55 p.m. there was a report of a lost animal that occurred on 11th St. Reporting person is missing his yellow lab, no collar male. Reporting person is currently looking for him and will call if he locates him. Returned to Owner. At 8:52 p.m. there was a welfare check made at Wal-Mart on Yellowstone Ave. Reporting person is a cab driver, she just dropped a female subject off behind Walmart, the subject seemed a bit disoriented, but insisted that she was alright. Subject lives somewhere behind Walmart, unknown address. Assistance Given. *Powell, Wyo.* At 2:03 a.m. a theft occurred on S Douglas St. Received a report of a theft. The case is under investigation. At 7:37 a.m. a traffic stop was initiated activity at W Coulter Ave/S Absaroka St. A traffic stop was performed and the driver was issued a citation for speeding in a school zone.
