Roads to Yellowstone remain closed; Opening dates released

The Park County Sheriff's Office released a few photos this morning as a reminder to locals and visitors that roads into Yellowstone remain closed. The Sheriff's Office said of the photos: "A tourist from Utah obviously didn't believe those 'Road Closed' signs at the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park." According to National Park Service website, the roads will open on the following schedule: *2016 Spring Road Opening Dates* - April 15: Mammoth to Old Faithful; Madison to West Entrance; Norris to Canyon. - May 6: Canyon Junction to Lake; Lake to East Entrance (Sylvan Pass). - May 13: Lake to West Thumb, West Thumb to Old Faithful (Craig Pass), and South Entrance to West Thumb; Tower Junction to Tower Fall. - May 27: Tower Fall to Canyon Junction (Dunraven Pass); Beartooth Highway *Feature Photo: h/t Park County Sheriff's Office /
