(Cody, Wyo.) - Friday, April 22nd, is another day off of school and the Cody Rec Center and the The Shoshone National Forest have a great activity planned for *youth in 2nd to 6th grades* (younger children are welcome to attend WITH an adult)! They'll be heading to the *Wood River to celebrate Earth Day* with a variety of engaging and exciting hands-on activities led by Shoshone National Forest personnel and other local groups. *Kids in the Woods - Flock to the Wood River*
- Friday, April 22nd
- 9 am to 3 pm (Drop off/Pick up at the Cody Rec Center)
- Cost $10, includes bus transportation, snack & all materials (Parents
are welcome for FREE!)
Planned activities include an interpretive nature hike plus learning about
birds of Wyoming, Leave No Trace, bear safety, fun crafts and more!
Children should pack a sack lunch, water bottle and wear appropriate
clothes for the weather and activities -- sturdy walking shoes, pants,
jacket, hat, etc.
