CHS artists = Congressional Award finalists

(Cody, Wyo) - This past weekend was State High School Art Symposium in Casper. Each year, 25 pieces of artwork are chosen as finalists for the Congressional Art Award - sponsored by the US House of Representatives. Out of those 25, one work of art is chosen to represent the state of Wyoming and is displayed in the annual youth exhibit in a corridor of the United State Capitol. Cody High School had 3 pieces of artwork selected as finalists for the Congressional Award. Maddie Lemburg and Kenna Skoric were finalists. Kenna Skoric's monoprint titled, "Where the Buffalo Roam" was selected as the winning work of art. She will be traveling to DC for a reception and show opening.
