Paving crew scheduled to begin work in Big Horn, Park counties

A WYDOT asphalt paving crew will begin work this week in Big Horn and Park counties. The paving crew is scheduled to pave Monday, May 2, near Otto on Wyoming 30 west of Basin. The crew is scheduled to move to Park County beginning Tuesday, May 3, with paving scheduled on U.S. 14/16/20 west of Cody at three locations between five and 10 miles east of Yellowstone National Park. All work is dependent upon favorable weather. The WYDOT hot-mix asphalt patching work is scheduled to continue May 9 through May 16 north of Meeteetse on Wyoming 120, May 17 northeast of Lovell on Wyoming 37, May 18 north of Worland on Wyoming 433, May 19-26 on U.S. 16 west of Ten Sleep, May 31 northwest of Thermopolis on Wyoming 174, and June 1 north of Thermopolis on U.S. 20/Wyoming 789. The WYDOT paving operation consists of a paving crew, a roller operator and numerous WYDOT trucks hauling the hot asphalt. “Please obey posted speed limits during the paving operation, and obey flaggers and traffic control for safety’s sake.
