Park County roller derby? Umm, yeah!

The Heart Mountain Wreck on Wheels started its third season on May 21 in a bout against Gillette's Powder River Rousta Bout It Betties. They won with a score of 278 to 50. “Because community service is a large part of the team’s focus, part of the proceeds from the match will go to Bighorn Basin Search and Rescue and to benefit one of our injured skaters,” said Heather Rhodes, HMWOW President. Wreck on Wheel’s next bout is at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 4 at the Riley against Billing's Magic City Rollers (B team). A portion of the proceeds will benefit Park County 4H. HMWOW is made up of moms, executives, waitresses, business owners and public servants ranging in age from 20 to 40 from all over Park County.
