(Cody, Wyo.) - Mark your calendars! The Cody Library is hosting a free writing workshop on Saturday, June 18 from 1 - 4 p.m. The Writing Workshop focuses on All the Water in Wyoming—Poems and Personal Essays and is lead by Wyoming landscape poet Lori A. Howe. Howe is the author of Cloudshade: Poems of the High Plains and Voices at Twilight: A Poet’s Guide to Wyoming Ghost Towns. She has taught English and creative writing workshops for the last decade at the University of Wyoming and Laramie County Community College (Laramie and Cheyenne campuses). To register call the Cody library at 527-1880 or stop by to sign up. “I can handle 12 writers pretty well. Beyond that number, the quality of the experience/personal attention for each participant starts to erode a bit,” said Howe. The event is free and open to the public.
