Greybull gets $900k for business park road paving

(Jackson, Wyo.) - The State Loan and Investment Board approved $7,985,627 million in Business Ready Community project requests at its meeting today. Projects in five communities will move forward with the help of these grants and loans, including one project for the Jackson Hole Airport and one for the Town of Alpine. BRC funding finances publicly-owned infrastructure that serves the needs of businesses and promotes economic development and diversity within Wyoming communities. Greybull requested a $1,260,000 grant for road and sewer improvements to its 28.3-acre business park. Interest in the area is high. By early June, 11 of 15 available lots will be sold to five businesses expanding in the Bighorn Basin. Those expansions will add seven to 10 jobs in the community. The WBC Board approved funding $900,000 to pave the roads. *Feature Photo: h/t PROcourthouselover via Flickr / Pitchengine Communities* #reboot #news
