More government departments prepare to move for the Capitol Square Project

Beginning November 2, the Wyoming State Treasurer's Office will begin its move to 2020 Carey Avenue, which is its temporary location during the Capitol Square Project. The move activity will continue for approximately two weeks. The receipt desk will stay at the Capitol through November 6. During the restoration of the Capitol, the Secretary of State's Office, State Auditor's Office and the State Treasurer’s Office will be located on different floors at 2020 Carey Avenue in Cheyenne. The State Auditor's Office moved last week. The Secretary of State will move later in November. Offices that have moved out of the Capitol: Wyoming Legislature: Has moved to the Jonah Business Center, located at 3001 E. Pershing Blvd. Wyoming State Auditor's Office: Has moved to its temporary location in 2020 Carey Avenue on the 8th and 9th floors. Agencies that have moved: Wyoming Attorney General's Office - Division of Victim Services: Has moved to 320 West 25th Street on the second floor in Cheyenne. Wyoming Attorney General's Office - Division of School Finance Litigation: Has moved to 320 West 25th Street on the first floor in Cheyenne. Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality: The Administration, Air Quality, Abandoned Mine Lands, Industrial Siting, Land Quality and Solid and Hazardous Waste Divisions have moved to 200 West 17th Street in Cheyenne. Wyoming Department of Fire Prevention and Electrical Safety: Has moved to 320 West 25th Street on the third floor in Cheyenne. Wyoming Department of Workforce Services: The administration office moved to its new location at 614 S. Greeley Highway in Cheyenne. Wyoming Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities: Has moved to 320 West 25th Street in Cheyenne. Wyoming Real Estate Commission: Has moved to its permanent space in Suite H, located on the lower level, in an office building located at 2617 E.
