Cheyenne Firefighters respond to an early call of a vehicle fire on Carey Ave. and Lincolnway

We tip our hats to Karen Fate for the snap of yesterday's early morning car fire in downtown Cheyenne. Cheyenne Fire and Rescue's Engine 1 responded to a call shortly after 7:00 a.m., Tuesday morning, to reports of a vehicle fire at the intersection of Carey Avenue and Lincolnway, Lieutenant of Engine 1 reported. "The fire was quickly extinguished and the occupant had exited the vehicle prior to the fire," Cheyenne Fire and Rescue's Public Information Officer, Derek Pollnow, stated. Dan Long of the Cheyenne Police Department stated that they were called for traffic control at the intersection during the incident.
