Jeff White To Be Nominated For City Council Vacated Seat

CHEYENNE – Jeff White will be nominated by City of Cheyenne Ward I City Councilmembers Scott Roybal and Annette Williams to fill a vacated seat in Ward I. A vacancy in Ward I currently exists because of the recent passing of Jimmy Valdez. Roybal and Williams met in an open meeting Tuesday night to interview their top five candidates. They had narrowed the list from 23 to five after interviews last Friday. City Council President Dr. Mark Rinne will now bring the nominee’s name forward to the full City Council for consideration and action. That date will be announced. Public comments on the nominee will be allowed after he is introduced at an upcoming City Council meeting. Mr. White works as the deputy administrator and training coordinator for the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services in the Vocational Rehabilitation Division. He has his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Wyoming. #shortgo
