American Legion Post 6 holds ceremony for local veterans

A crowd of nearly 200 gathered for Veterans Day at Cheyenne's American Legion Post 6, to take part in the ceremony dedicated to those veterans who have served in the military. The ceremony included music by The Cheyenne Capitol Quartet, and a wreath-laying presentation to remember those who have served. *H/t photo: American Legion Post 6/Pitchengine Communities* Gov. Matt Mead and Sen. John Barrasso were among state leaders to speak at the ceremony, along with several local veterans. *H/t photo: American Legion Post 6/Pitchengine Communities* The audience was asked by officials to be sure to thank a veteran for their service at any given opportunity. As many service members continue to serve our nation overseas, it is important to always continue to send thanks to those members of the military as well as our veterans who have served us in the past. *Feature photo: American Legion Post 6 Facebook /Pitchengine Communities* #shortgo
