Sunday found the Cheyenne Stampede back in Denver facing off with a very disgruntled Evolution Hockey Club. Coach Gary Gill had this to say “Last game started off slow but we got our feet under us in the second ... But a win is a win and we need them all ... Good work boys” The Stampede fell 1-0 early in the contest but with a huge game by #10 Heath Lantz who posted two goals and four assists to lead the team with 6 points and #14 Thayne Trumbull with one goal and three assists for a four point afternoon, the Stampede were able to pick up the win and the much needed points.
