Wyoming contestants compete in Las Vegas at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo

The patiently awaited 2015 National Finals Rodeo finally kicked off yesterday in Las Vegas, Nevada where over 100 contestants are set to compete for the chance to show off their skills and win some serious dough. There are three contestants from Wyoming listed on WFNR competing for their rodeo payout; barrel racer Cassidy Kruse from Gillette; bareback bronc rider Seth Hardwick from Laramie; and steer wrestler Seth Brockman from Wheatland. A total of $8.8 million is awarded during each event per man for team roping, $1.1 million per man in team roping during the Go-Round event, and an average breakdown per event of $253,846 per man in team roping, according to WNFR.
