A 24-year-old Nebraska man was recently arrested in Cheyenne and charged with first degree murder in connection of a death of a Colorado resident. Zachary Mueller, 24, was arrested by Cheyenne law enforcement
Dec. 6 for allegedly stealing a car and leading police on a pursuit.
Mueller is accused of shooting Pedro Dominguez, 33, of Greeley, Colo. Nov.
22 or 23 and dumping his body into a barrel in Morrill County, Nebraska,
according to court document.
Dominguez's body was recovered Dec. 4, an autopsy revealed he died of a
single gunshot wound to the back of the head, local reports state.
Mueller faces life in prison if convicted of murder.
