Researchers of the University of Wyoming's Biodiversity Institute were recently featured on National Geographic for their incredible animal migration discovery through GPS tracking. These researchers tracked how elk, mule, deer, moose, big horn sheep, and pronghorn use Wyoming and Colorado wilderness areas to better understand and conserve its ungulate migrations, according to National Geographic. The project enters a Short Film Showcase to be featured on the well-known site that can be seen here
Their incredible findings have been compiled into an online atlas
of the area's animal migrations.
