Central High School students perform at Winter Wonderland choir concert

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Parents, students, and staff gathered in the Central High School Auditorium yesterday evening to enjoy live Christmas music. David Hurst and Wendy Dryden directed the students through 18 holiday arrangements and one *Star Spangled Banner*, as the opening performance. Four groups of singers each performed for the anticipating audience; the Centralaires, Chamber Choir, Bella Voce, and the Tribesmen. Hurst noted throughout the night of several students who advanced through auditions and made it into All-Northwest Jazz Choir and All-State choir. Fifteen students from Cheyenne Central High School made it into All-Northwest, while Nicholas Long, and Lauren Salsgiver were applauded for making it into All-State after their auditions earlier this month. Isaac Schmidt of Central HS, was also acknowledged for his auditions and making it into Orchestra.
