Local service officer conducting community outreach services for Veterans assistance in January

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - A Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services in Wyoming cities throughout January. Joseph Ferguson, Marine Combat veteran and current Wyoming Army National Guard soldier, will be available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veteran’s benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs Claims or VA Healthcare, and help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims or request healthcare. Ferguson's office, located at the Joint Forces Readiness Center, 5800 Central Avenue in Cheyenne, will also be available at the following locations: - Cheyenne – Jan. 5 and 21 at the Department of Workforce Services, west entrance, 1510 E.
