Warren Federal Credit Union announces merger with Community Financial slated for late spring 2016

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Warren Federal Credit Union announced their upcoming merger with Michigan-based Community Financial Credit Union, set to take place this spring 2016. The merger is expected to exceed $800 million in total assets and serve 70,000 members at eleven full-service branch locations throughout Wyoming and Colorado. "This merger partnership will enable the credit union to continue growing and delivering additional benefits," WFCU posted. "Both credit unions share a commitment to exceed the expectations of our members and are committed to giving back to the communities we serve." A new name will take over once the merger takes places, but has still yet to be decided.
