Curt Gowdy State Park sees largest amount of attendees at First Day Hike

Wyoming State Parks held their First Day Hike event Jan. 1 to encourage locals to get outside and hike during the winter season. This year, participation int he New Year day event increased nearly 50 percent held at 11 venues throughout Wyoming, according to Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources. Curt Gowdy State Park, just west of Cheyenne, reported their largest turnout yet with 156 in attendance, and look forward to an even larger turnout for the 2017 First Day Hike.
