Public assistance needed to establish Fat Bike trail at Curt Gowdy State Park

Curt Gowdy State Park is in the process of establishing a fat-bike trail with the use of snowmobiles and hikers, but are asking for some help from the public. "We are asking help from the public to ride or hike the system to help with setup," CGSP posted today. The trail, located out of Aspen Grove at the horse corrals, goes though the equestrian gate at the end of the parking lot and is well marked with flagging in the trees and bushes. It is currently an out and back trail, estimated at about two miles. Many hikers will be out this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. to connect parts of the trail, making a loop and the public is welcomed to join. *Feature photo: Curt Gowdy State Park/Pitchengine Communities* #shortgo #news #whatshappening
