BREAKING: Man killed on Colorado highway after allegedly stabbing his Cheyenne family

A Cheyenne man is presumed dead after reportedly being struck by multiple vehicles in Weld County, Colo. Randall Vanwoerkom, 30, is the main suspect in the stabbing of four of his family members. Cheyenne Police reports that it was called to a home on the 4300 block of Cheyenne Street at 11:15 p.m. Friday night after multiple 911 hang-ups. Police arrived finding four people had been stabbed. When officers responded to the residence, they found four members of Randall’s family had been stabbed with a knife multiple times. The victims include Randall’s wife, Marcai Vanwoerkom, 30, and the couple’s 4 and 6 year old sons as well as Marcai’s father, James Langdon, whose age is unknown at this time. Cheyenne Police Officers provided emergency aid to the victims until paramedics could arrive and began to search for the suspect. All victims were transported to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for treatment and are in stable condition. It was established by officers that Randall was the suspect and had attacked his family after he was confronted by allegations of infidelity. Randall fled the scene in a vehicle prior to officers arrival. As officers were attempting to contact Randall, they were notified at approximately 1:00 am on January 16 that the suspect was believed to be involved in a fatal crash on I-25 in Weld County, Colorado. The identity of the person killed after being struck by multiple vehicles while in the roadway is still awaiting confirmation and the crash is being investigated by authorities in Weld County, Colorado.
