WyoWLC Set to Host 9th Annual Leap into Leadership Program

Aiming to increase female leadership roles at the local, state and national level, the Wyoming Women’s Legislative Caucus (WyoWLC) is hosting their ninth annual Leap into Leadership program on February 25th & 26th, 2016 in Cheyenne. “From the first woman to cast a vote to the first woman elected Governor, Wyoming has a long and storied history of strong female leaders. We need to continue that rich tradition today by encouraging more women to get involved in all types of leadership positions,” WyoWLC Co-Chair Mary Throne. “Women leadership is essential to any government whether at the local, state, federal, or international level” said WyoWLC Co-Chair Ruth Ann Petroff. “Women are entrepreneurial, passionate, and highly collaborative, allowing them to be great leaders. Leap Into Leadership harnesses the talents of promising women leaders in Wyoming, guiding them in their path to leadership throughout our great state.” Founded in 2008, Leap into Leadership offers workshops, networking opportunities and speakers targeted for Wyoming women seeking to cultivate and expand their leadership skills and opportunities.
