(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Young Cheyenne residents can now apply for the 2016-2017 Mayor’s Youth Council with the City of Cheyenne. Young community-minded individuals, ages 14-19, interested in learning more about City government must attend school or be home schooled and reside in Cheyenne. The term will begin Aug. 2016 and conclude May 2017. The Mayor’s Youth Council Selection Committee will review the applications and interview selected candidates in April, successful applicants will be notified in May. Applications are available at the Urban Planning Office located in Room 309 of the Municipal Building, 2101 O’Neil Avenue, or online
and are due by Mar. 10.
