(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Several crashes along Interstate 25
winter conditions have caused many road closures throughout the day, Feb.
Pitchengine Communities spoke with Sgt. Wagener with the Wyoming Highway
Patrol about those crashes in which he began with saying, "the wind is
blowing pretty hard [along I-25] pushing snow across the road and creating
a thick black ice."
Both passenger vehicles and commercial trucks with a lighter trailer have
been involved in the majority of these crashes,which result from the wind
and black ice combination, causing the trailers to jackknife, Sgt. Wagener
