(Wheat Ridge, Colo.) - The suspect involved in tonight's stand off
with Laramie County Sheriff's and SWAT teams is also suspected of an
attempted murder in Colorado, according to local reports.

An arrest warrant was issued today for Andrew Dean Howton (9-27-72) for
Criminal Attempt 1st Degree Murder, a class two felony, in connection with
the stabbing that occurred on February 4, 2016 at the Howard Johnson Hotel
in Wheat Ridge. Bond has been set at $500,000.
The victim, a 30 year old woman, is still in critical condition.
Howton is seen on hotel security footage checking into the hotel on
February 3, 2016 and exiting the Howard Johnson at 6:59 AM on February 4,
2016. He is described as a Caucasian male, 43 years old, with dark hair.
