Residents join Cheyenne Firefighters in 'Wet-down Ceremony' for new Engine #5

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Local residents and City officials joined as Cheyenne Fire & Rescue welcomed in their new Engine #5 into service today, Feb. 17. Cheyenne residents gathered to get a look at the brand new Engine, and have a chance to hose-down the truck in the "Wet-down Ceremony." This new Engine replaces the old truck on Dell Range that was built in 1999. ​*(Pitchengine Communities)* ​*(Pitchengine Communities)* Fire Chief Jim Martin, Mayor Rick Kaysen, and Treasurer Mark Gordon, were among the officials who spoke at the ceremony.
