(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - It was announced yesterday by national reports
that Sports Authority made the decision to close 140 stores after filing
for bankruptcy, Mar. 2.
The four Wyoming locations were not listed among the 140 store closures
following yesterday's announcement.
The company is reportedly $1.1 billion in debt, in which the CEO Michael
Foss stated that the company will, "use the Chapter 11 process to
streamline and strengthen our business both operationally and financially
so that we have the financial flexibility to continue to make necessary
investments in our operations.”
