Sheriffs continue investigation into Cheyenne credit union robbery

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - On Feb. 29, around 11:00 a.m., a male wearying a heavy coat, blue surgical mask, and knit cap robbed the Warren Federal Credit Union located inside the Safeway at 700 South Greeley Highway. The male, described as a white/light-skinned black male 6-foot and 185-lbs, left with an undetermined amount of cash. The male parked a 60’s-70's model Volkswagen van on W. Allison and walked over to the Safeway and then left westbound on Allison following the robbery. The Volkswagen van is described as being generally white colored with possibly a green or blue stripe on it or having solid blue and green on the bottom, according to the Laramie County Sheriff's Office. The van might have a spare tire on the front grille/nose and might have flower designs painted on the front. It is described as having green and white Colorado license plates and generally being in poor condition.
