(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Following the announcement
of the Wyoming-based Warren Federal Credit Union and Colorado-based
Community Financial Credit Union merger, the new organization's name will
now be Blue Federal Credit Union.
The new organization will become official April 1 of this year.
Warren branches in Cheyenne, Laramie, and Northern Colorado will now be
re-branded with the new Blue logo beginning in early May. Branches that
compose the current network of Community Financial in Broomfield and
Boulder will also be updated to reflect the bright, modern look that
characterizes Blue Federal Credit Union.
“Blue is the unifying color of the two organizations, and was used in each
group’s previous logos. To us, it speaks to aspirational thinking, and
represents the ascending mountains and endless skies of the places we call
home,” Chief Executive Officer, Stephanie Teubner said. As a key leader in
the merger agreement, Teubner says it was important that the name, “also
captured the confidence and trust our members have placed in us as well as
the unwavering optimism we feel as organizations going into the merger.”
Our members are the cornerstone of everything we’ve built,” Teubner
continued, “and we want Blue to serve as a pillar that signifies a
consistency of service and community commitment both credit unions have
